The original specification was that this site would consist of 'A collection of action-oriented models, frameworks & guidelines documents, tailored to the needs of the principal audiences and in a form suitable for user testing & validation' (from LinkER proposal, Table B1). The 'user testing and validation' implied that these resources would be made easily accessible to members of DivLE project teams and others, so that they could (i) provide feedback and (ii) add links to, or suggestions based on, their own work in this area. The aim was to have a fuller and qualitatively improved resource available as deliverable D4 in a format allowing widespread targeted dissemination and efficient maintenance by JISC (LinkER proposal, Table B1). This draft version of D4 is intended to provide the basis for further revision and it is intended to have a full version of D4 available late in 2003.
Each of the 20+ pages have text which summarises the problem/issue area and begins to sketch some ways to approach the problem/issue area. Many of the topics come from LinkER deliverables D2 and D5 and some come from points in the original proposal. Bob Kemp and I will rely on further help from the DiVLE projects, the LinkER team and advice and contributions from the wider community. So if you'd like to comment on the text here, add resources or provide additional material - . please let us know
Many thanks
